We are a diverse club encouraging people to explore the world of rowing. From getting fit to competing, we have something to offer everyone in a dynamic and fun environment. For those wishing to compete we race not only at BUCS events but also on rivers across the country like the Head of the River Race on the Thames in London, the biggest race of the year and for those just wishing to have fun and socialise while getting fit, our Social Secretary will be organising many fun activities some of which will be alcohol free events. We are constantly looking for new members (no experience required) and look forward to meeting you soon.

The club aims to provide a fun and safe environment for people to explore the joys of rowing. From beginners to seasoned rowers, we strive to encourage members to develop their skills and confidence and for those so wishing, raise their fitness levels in the process. Our ultimate aim is to break our record achievements in various races that were only set last year and keep fielding crews that continually improve not only individually but also as a team.

We will be raising funds to keep the club in a good financial grounding and to enable us to maintain the upkeep of our equipment, replacing them when necessary. This will be achieved through a range of activities from a sponsored rowathon to a pub quiz. Another important aspect for the club is to ensure sufficient members interest to not only have a superb committee for next year, but also senior members to pass their knowledge on to new recruits.

Have a nice day!! Very Happy
